Police arrested six women and seized 10 gaming devices. According to WSB-TV in Atlanta, the female gambling ring busted in Georgia operated out of at least two residences in a quiet Duluth neighborhood.
Neighbors say they did not suspect anything unusual even though, at times, they noticed limos pulling up to the residences. They thought it was just some type of older women’s club.
Indeed it was. Men were allegedly allowed on the property but not allowed to gamble. That privilege was reserved for the women only.
Apparently one of the spouses became upset that wife was gambling too much and contacted authorities. That prompted the investigation and raid.
Police said they don’t know if the alleged operations spread beyond the two homes and that their investigation continues.
